A priest on each bus. Passion Play tickets included.
Included daily: Deluxe coach, Mass, 4 Rosaries, breakfast, and dinner.

1) Tues., June 17: On plane
Evening departure from airport in NY area.

2) Wed., June 18: Altoetting (2 nights)
After arriving in Munich in the morning, we transfer by deluxe motor coach to Altoetting Shrine, where was St. Conrad. This is Germany's most celebrated pilgrimage center with over 600,000 visitors annually.
The Pope has been here twice. It is delightful.

3) Thurs., June 19: Altoetting
Mass and prayer in Altoetting, then a visit to the famous
Panorama, and to the birth place of St. Conrad, Venushof at Parzham, and other places where he lived. Then to Passau, to St. Steven’s Cathedral, which has one of the largest church organs in the world.

4) Fri., June 20: Vienna (2 nights)
We drive east though the glorious Austrian country toward Mariazell Shrine, founded in 1157, as early as the beginning of the 14th century, crowds of Christians showed their devotion to the Virgin of Mariazell. On the way, we will visit the Stift Abbey Monastary Church at Melk, one of the most impressive Benedictine Monasteries and a wonder of Baroque architecture, to see the glorious gold leaf Church, overlooking the Danube River. Possible brief organ recital on their magnificent organ.
Continue our drive to Vienna.

5) Sat., June 21: Vienna
Our sightseeing of the glittering Vienna includes the Ringstrasse, the inner city, the Opera House, St. Stephen's Cathedral, founded in the 12th century. It has been destroyed again and again in wars of the centuries, but the Austrian provinces combined their efforts to restore the Cathedral. Free day or optional tour of the opera house, the museum, and possible evening concert.

6) Sun., June 22: Innsbruck (1 night)
After breakfast, board our motor coach for Salzburg, with a most scenic
drive through the Salzkammer, the area of towering mountains, dense forest, fields of flowers, and lovely villages. On arrival in Salzburg, a brief sightseeing tour and the Salzburger Dom Cathedral before we continue on to Innsbruck.

7) Mon., June 23: Einsiedeln (1 night)
The drive today will take us via Stams, with a stop there at the monastery founded in 1273 and a visit to the Holy Blood Chapel and the famous Rose Fence (and burial place of the counts of Tyrol). We continue
to Einsiedeln, the beautiful resort town visit the baroque Pilgrimage Church, Maria-Einsiedeln in Switzerland. There you will see the Gothic
sculpture of the miraculous Black Madonna of Eiensiedeln, especially
honored by a great number of pilgrims.

8) Tues., June 24: Marianfried (2 nights)
From Innsbruck, we will drive to ULM, to see this popular Passion Play. Since the Middle Ages, Passion Plays are part of the culture in this region. More than 500 people perform the Passion once every 6 years here in ERL, as a message of peace. Return to Innsbruck in the evening.

9) Wed., June 25: Marianfried
Today we drive back to GermanyMarianfried through some of the most majestic scenery in Europe to Ulm, and the Marianfried Shrine.

10) Thurs., June 26: Munich (2 nights)
After Mass and prayer at Marianfried, we head towards Ulm, visiting the impressive Ulm Cathedral (Munster) and then we continue to Munich.

11) Fri., June 27: Munich
Sightseeing Munich, a city which dates back to the 9th century when as a village it was established by monks. We will visit the twin towered Cathedral of Our Lady, Frauen Kirche, Munich's famous landmark. We will also visit the beautiful Old Town with Marienplatz and the famous Glockenspiel, and City Hall. Brief visit to the castle of Linderhof of King Ludwig II. We will also visi the magnificent golden Benedictine Monastery Church of Our Lady of Ettal at Ettal, Germany.

12) Sat., June 28: home
Morning transfer to the Airport, arriving in New York area on the same day.

If you are driving, you may leave your car at Fatima House during the pilgrimage.

Daily Itinerary

Saturday, June 14, 2008:

1) Retreat officially begins at 5 p.m. (Drive here or fly into Newark, NJ, (or JFK, NY, but Newark is better) and further instructions will be provided).

2) Dinner in excellent Washington, New Jersey restaurant (included)

3) Following dinner, there will be a Rosary and dessert at Fatima House

Sunday, June 15, 2008:

1) Breakfast on your own

2) 11:30 a.m. Mass at Blue Army Shrine

3) Shrine store is usually open daily between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

4) Transportation to restaurant for lunch (on your own) and return to lodging

5) Divine Mercy Chaplet and spiritual video showings at Fatima House

6) Dinner at excellent restaurant (included) and return to lodging

Monday, June 16, 2008:

1) Breakfast on your own, followed by 11 a.m. Rosary and Mass at the Blue Army Shrine.

2) Transportation for lunch (on your own)

3) 3 p.m. Walking Stations of the Cross/Rosary Garden at Blue Army Shrine

4) 6:30 p.m. dinner in a different excellent restaurant (included)

5) 8 p.m. Rosary meeting, social hour and religious video

Tuesday, June 17, 2008:

1) Breakfast on your own

2) Depart for early morning Mass

3) Depart to airport
