1) Mon., May 18: on plane
Early evening departure from New York area.

2) Tues., May 19: Rome (2 nights
Morning arrival in Rome. Today we will start with Mass at St. Chrysogonus Basilica where the long-time incorrupt body of Anna Marie Taigi rests enshrined in a glass-sided reliquary beneath the altar. We will pay a short visit to her museum there. After our Mass, we will visit 2 of the 4 Major Basilicas: St. John Lateran, and the Holy Stairs, and then St. Mary Major. Near-by is St. Alphonsus Ligouri Church, where hangs the original picture of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Across the street is St. Praxedes Chruch, where we will be able to see a large part of the scourging pillar of Christ.

3) Wed., May 20: Rome
If Pope Benedict VI is in Rome, we have arranged to obtain tickets for the Papal audience in the morning. Then we will see the other 2 major Basilicas, St. Peter's Basilica, and St. Paul Outside the Wall. For most of the day, we will have free time at the Vatican to visit its many interesting areas. Afternoon visit to St. Paul's Outside the Wall where his tomb is located, and to see the Crucifix which came alive and spoke to St. Bridget of Sweden.

4) Thurs., May 21: Pompeii (2 nights)
Today we plan to have our Mass in the church where the great St. Benedict founded Monte Casino, and tour the Monastery Shrine there. After a lunch stop, we will proceed to Pompeii, (approximately a 3 hr. bus ride from Rome). There we will have visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, which is the largest Marian Church in the world, housing the famous miraculous painting of Our Lady of the Rosary and the glass encased body of Blessed Bertolo Longo.

5) Fri., May 22: Pompeii
This morning we proceed to Mugnano Del Cardinal for out Mass at the Church of St. Philomina, the headquarters of devotion to her. After lunch, we return to Pompeii for an on-your-own visit to the world famous ruins of the lava flow (which often closes at 6 p.m.), and devotions at the Basilica.

6) Sat., May 23: San Giovanni (4 nights)
Early morning drive to Pietrelcina, birthplace of St. Padre Pio. We will have our Mass there, and then see the places where Padre Pio lived as a child. Then we will proceed to San Giovanni Rotondo (about a 3 hour ride), to arrive there in time for dinner. On the way we will pay a short visit to the Piano Romano Church, and see the tree where Padre Pio first received the invisible stigmata, 4 days after his ordination to the priesthood.

7) Sun., May 24: San Giovanni
This morning, we have tickets to view and pray before the partially incorrupt body of St. Padre Pio. After lunch, we will pray the famous Stations of the Cross on the (which closes at 6 p.m). After dinner, we will partake in the services at the new Basilica of Our Lady of Grace.

8) Mon., May 25: San Giovanni
This morning we will visit the English room for a blessing with Padre Pio’s glove. Then we will visit Padre Pio’s cell, the museum walk, and the old church. After lunch we will visit Mary Pyle’s home.

9) Tues., May 26: San Giovanni
After our Morning Mass, we will proceed to the world famous cave of St Michael, (about 1 and ½ hour bus ride away). On the way back, we will stop at the cemetery, outside of San Giavanni Rotondo, to visit the tombs of the parents of Padre Pio, and that of Mary Pile.

10) Wed., May 27: Loreto (1 night)
After morning Mass, we will bus to Loreto, (about a 5 and ½ hour drive), to pray in the house of the Annunciation and the transported home of the Holy Family. We will also view the American Chapel in the Shrine, donated by the Blue Army.

11) Thurs., May 28: Rome (1 night)
After 6 a.m. morning Mass in the Holy House and breakfast, we bus back to Rome (about a 4 hour ride), to our hotel for a fine dinner and evening of Roman entertainment.

12) Fri., May 29: same day
Morning Mass at a Church in the area, and then proceed to the airport for our return flights home. Bon Voyage.

1) Retreat officially begins at 5 p.m. (Drive here or fly into Newark, NJ, (or JFK, NY,
but Newark is better) and further instructions will be provided).

2) Dinner in excellent Washington, New Jersey restaurant (included)

3) Following dinner, there will be a Rosary and dessert at Fatima House

Saturday, May 16, 2009:

1) Breakfast on your own

2) 11:30 a.m. Mass at Blue Army Shrine

3) Shrine store is usually open daily between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

4) Transportation to restaurant for lunch (on your own) and return to lodging

5) Divine Mercy Chaplet and spiritual video showings at Fatima House

6) Dinner at excellent restaurant (included) and return to lodging

Sunday, May 17, 2009:

1) Breakfast on your own, followed by 11 a.m. Rosary and Mass at the Blue Army Shrine.

2) Transportation for lunch (on your own)

3) 3 p.m. Walking Stations of the Cross/Rosary Garden at Blue Army Shrine

4) 6:30 p.m. dinner in a different excellent restaurant (included)

5) 8 p.m. Rosary meeting, social hour and religious video

Monday, May 18, 2009:

1) Breakfast on your own

2) Depart for early morning Mass

3) Depart to airport

Nonrefundable deposit: $25 per person
Total price is: $199 per person for a double room
$299 for a single room
Included are: Three nights lodging, three full dinners, spiritual video showings, private conferences with priest upon request, Eucharistic adoration periods, Rosary social hours, daily transportation, and transportation to and from airport.
