INQUIRE ABOUT 3 DAY PRIOR MINI-RETREAT IN WASHINGTON, NEW JERSEY
Whether of not you are making the mini-retreat, if you are driving,
cars may be parked at the Fatima House in Washington, New Jersey
for the duration of the pilgrimage. There is no charge for parking.
On the day of departure, there is an 11 a.m. Rosary and Mass at the Blue Army Shrine.
For transportation service from Fatima House in the Washington, N.J. area,
to go to and from the airport, reservations must be made in advance.

(Subject to change, depending upon events taking place, and group preferences.)

1) Monday, May 23: on plane
Evening departure from New York or Newark area airport.

2) Tuesday, May 24:
Medjugorje (7 nights)
After our arrival into Split or Dubrovnik (continue on the 2 1/2 hour bus ride to Medjugorje in time for dinner and evening Mass. Depending on our flights, we may stop at the local Lourdes Grotto for a prayer visit.

3) Wednesday, May 25: Medjugorje
Meet with the visionaries who are present in Medjugorje on the days when they will be speaking, as well as other various activities in Medjugorje. We will also be climbing the Cross Mountain, the Apparition Mountain, and the Blue Cross Hill, on the various days of clement weather, as our guide suggests.

4) Thursday, May 26: Medjugorje
Optional bus ride for a talk by Fr. Jozo in Sherokie Brieg, (if he is available). Visit to Tehilina to see the famous statue of Our Lady, and also to see the local waterfall. Then tour of Mostar, and a visit to St. Francis Church. Possible visit with Sr. Jania in her special convent.

5) Friday, May 27: Medjugorje
Conference with Fr. Svetozar or other guest speaker, followed by a visit to the Oasis of Peace with Sister Elvira’s staff at Compo dela Vita.

6) Saturday, May 28:
Medjugorje
Morning Mass at the beautiful Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto, overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Stations of the Cross at this lovely hillside Grotto. Afternoon visit to the orphanage and the animal park there. Possible visit to the “Fatima Castle.”

7) Sunday, May 29:
Medjugorje
A Sunday day of prayer in Medjugorje, and possible prayer meeting on the mountain. Probable guest speaker in the evening.

8) Monday, May 30: Medjugorje
We will participate in the various religious programs that will be taking place here this day, or visit and talk at Cenaculo. Special evening holy hours are usually scheduled two evenings per week.

9) Tuesday, May 31: Prague (3 nights)
Visit to Spilt. We will see the smallest Basilica in the world, visited by Pope John Paul II, formerly Diocletian's tomb, and the ancient Baptismal font there near the Basilica. Lunch in the Old Town area near the waterfront. Flight to the US or to Prague at 4:40 p.m. for a 6:05 arrival there. Traditional Czech welcome dinner and overnight.

10) Wednesday, June 1: Prague
Bus and full-day guide services. Possible visits include: Orientation city tour, Prague Castle area, Visit St. Vitus Square and Cathedral, Old Royal Palace, Basilica of St. George, Golden Lane, tour of the Brevnov Monastery, and 6 p.m. Mass St. Marketa Church near the Monastery and near the Grand Klasterni dinner restaurant.

11) Thursday, June 2: Prague
Bus and full-day guide services. Possible visits include: Mass at 9 a,m, at Our Lady of Victories and to pray before the original Statue of the Infant of Prague; Strahov Monastery and Library; Prague Loreto with church of the Nativity of Our Lord; Jewish Museum, Lesser town, Kampa Island, Old Town Square, Old Town Hall with its famous astronomical clock, Tyne Church (another Mass a 6 p.m) and/ or also a 6 p.m. Latin Mass at the Annunciation Church containing, the body of St. Norbert. Evening dinner within the church area.

12) Friday, June 3:
If desired, go again to Mass at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Victories and to pray
before the original Statue of the Infant of Prague. Then proceed very quickly to the airport, or go to a local church near the hotel for morning Mass, or, have a leisurely breakfast and then proceed directly to the airport for our flight
with a arrival in the USA. +++

Friday, May 20, 2011:

1) Retreat officially begins at 5 p.m. (Drive here or fly into Newark, NJ, (or JFK, NY, but Newark is better) and further instructions
will be provided).

2) Dinner in excellent Washington, New Jersey restaurant (included)

3) Following dinner, there will be a Rosary and dessert at Fatima House


Saturday, May 21, 2011:


1) Breakfast on your own

2) 11:30 a.m. Mass at Blue Army Shrine

3) Shrine store is usually open daily between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

4) Transportation to restaurant for lunch (on your own) and return to lodging

5) Divine Mercy Chaplet and spiritual video showings at Fatima House

6) Dinner at excellent restaurant (included) and return to lodging


Sunday, May 22, 2011:


1) Breakfast on your own, followed by 11 a.m. Rosary and Mass at the Blue Army Shrine.

2) Transportation for lunch (on your own)

3) 3 p.m. Walking Stations of the Cross/Rosary Garden at Blue Army Shrine

4) 6:30 p.m. dinner in a different excellent restaurant (included)

5) 8 p.m. Rosary meeting, social hour and religious video

 

Monday, May 23, 2011:

2) Depart for early morning Mass

3) Depart to airport
