After a 4-hour interview with Sr. Lucia in 1946 in which the author asked pertinent questions that were not contained in her Memoirs, such as how she felt when Bl. Francisco and Jacinta were taken out to be fried in boiling oil, or noting that the Memoirs have no description of the Miracle of the Sun, because the children were seeing a series of Heavenly visions and were only aware of the miracle from the shouts of the people.
